If you are not hiring a car at the airport you will have to organise transport to and from Playa Blanca, fortunately
this is both easy and cheap. Many of our clients have used the service by Last Minute Transfer (link below) and we
have had excellent feedback about the service. They provide a door to door service at a very reasonable price
(March 2011 price €40 for return trip to Playa Blanca for up to 4 people).
Hiring a car is the best and most convinient way to explore Lanzarote's attractions, and driving is generally a
pleasant experience. Hiring a car is easy as there are many car hire offices at the airport and all major resorts.
Petrol is reasonably priced, but be aware that not all petrol stations on Lanzarote accept credit cards, so it is
adviseable to have cash when filling up at an unknown place.
